A fundamental component of Amergin's work involves direct consultation with Aboriginal community representatives and proponents. The cross-cultural interaction that occurs during ethnographic surveys in particular is designed to facilitate positive relationships between proponents and the community in order to achieve mutually-beneficial outcomes.
Amergin's consultants have worked with Aboriginal groups across the state including:
ü Albany Heritage Reference Group Aboriginal Corporation
ü Bibbulmun Tribal Group
ü Ballaruk Aboriginal Corporation
ü Bilya Noongar Organisation
ü Independent Aboriginal Environmental Group
ü Eastern Guruma Native Title Holders
ü Gnaala Karla Booja Native Title Claimant Group
ü Nyiyaparli Native Title Claimants
ü Thalanyji Native Title Holders
In previous roles, Bryn has also worked with Indigenous elders from the Ngallak Koort Boodja working group, the Combined Metropolitan Native Title Claimant Group, the Ngarda-ngarli (signatories to the Burrup and Maitland Industrial Estates Agreement) and the Gnulli and Thudgari people of the Carnarvon area.
